Pete rugolo (December 25, 1915 – October 16, 2011) was a profound american jazz composer who's work was revolutionary to Jazz. He started by composing many Stan Kenton pieces in the 40s-50s. He later became a band leader in the 50s with many big name members such as Maynard Ferguson, Shelly Manne (But not before convincing Capital Records to sign very-little known at the time, Miles Davis). He would transition to composing Film / TV scores in the 60s, creating a ton of soundtracks that include: Thriller, The Fugitive, M*A*S*H, etc. Yet, he has never seen the recognision that Stan Kenton, Miles Davis, or John Williams has gotten. So, I made this site because he's freaking awesome and he deserves more recognision!!!
This site is still under construction, so in the meantime, if you want fun things to do, go to my main website, nathanmills.dev!
